Artist Inspiration: The Tribal Logo stands for the Tribal heritage of South Africa but I believe there is a Tribal aspect in all of us, that somehow creates a link to our past. Where does these geometric symbols come from? Did our ancestors see them somewhere?  What is the meaning of these geometric shapes and patterns? Keep asking questions.

What is a Ripstop fabric?
Ripstop fabrics are woven fabrics, often made of nylon, using a reinforcing technique that makes them more resistant to tearing and ripping. During weaving, stronger (and often thicker) reinforcement yarns are interwoven at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern. Ripstop fabric is a fabric used to manufacture parachutes and tents.
