This NAVA Apparel Men’s Tribal T-Shirt in Black Melange is a 85% Cotton and 15% Polyester mix. Manufactured in 160 gram combed cotton and individually styled for the best fit in the industry. Our NAVA Apparel T-Shirts are enzyme washed to remove excess surface fibres giving you the smoothest, softest surface in the market and we only use lycra rib in all of our garments ensuring perfect recovery and optimum life span. This Men’s Tribal T-Shirt in Black Melange has an embroidered NAVA Tribal badge on the left chest made from Ripstop fabric. All our T-Shirts are also branded on the back with a black woven NAVA badge.

What is a Ripstop fabric?

Ripstop fabrics are woven fabrics, often made of nylon, using a reinforcing technique that makes them more resistant to tearing and ripping. During weaving, stronger (and often thicker) reinforcement yarns are interwoven at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern. Ripstop fabric is a fabric used to manufacture parachutes and tents.

Artist Inspiration: The NAVA Tribal Logo was created with the help of a local Artist (Ross) in Wilderness – @wildernessfolk  The NAVA Tribal Logo stands for the Tribal heritage of South Africa but I believe there is a Tribal aspect in all of us, that somehow creates a link to our past. What is the meaning of these geometric shapes and patterns? Did our ancestors perhaps see them somewhere?
