Our Women’s ‘Phuthi’ Snugg Boots in Brown Leather are a super comfy, cosy, warm pair of winter boots. Snugg is for Snuggly. Made from a 100% South African Cow Leather with a multi colour tribal design cotton weave fabric on the sides. The interior of the boots are fully lined with a fluffy fleece for ultimate comfort and warmth. All our shoes are fitted with Italian fiber board inner-soles and latex foam in-soles, which are covered with leather for a super soft feel. Italian fiber boards are much more breathable and durable, lasting up to 10 years which helps prevent soles from splitting in half. Fitted with 100% genuine eco rubber soles for outstanding quality and good grip. All our soles can be replaced and recycled when needed. All NAVA Apparel shoes are handmade by local South African craftsmen and women. Without their skills, our quality products wouldn’t exist. Quality above quantity.

Artist Inspiration: The Phuthi Collection is designed for the brave, independent explorer who will survive the ages of time through his / her strength and determination. Traditional values should never be forgotten. Remember who you are and where you come from. The ebaPhuthi (Phuthi people) were among the first Bantu-speaking people to arrive in present-day Lesotho, where they came in contact and intermarried with the autochthon hunter-gatherer communities of southern Africa, commonly referred to as San. The Phuthi nation was formed in the early nineteenth century and consolidated under the leadership of their king, Murena Moorosi. Most ebaPhuthi live in rural areas in Quthing and Qacha’s Nek, the most marginalised and least developed districts of Lesotho. Boys are expected to herd livestock and girls to contribute to domestic work and childcare. See our Phuthi Collection Here.
